Tips for Creating Your Wardrobe

When the country’s economy plummets or when your family budget needs to be cinched, purchasing clothing that fits well and will be worn often becomes very critical, able to use reach prepaid card. Here are some tips that will help you create a wardrobe where you’ll like – and wear – every single piece of clothing.

Do not buy clothing that is tight. You will be uncomfortable when you wear it (so you probably won’t wear it very often) and monthly weight fluctuations will make it even tighter.

Be careful when buying garments that are made out of slinky, clingy fabrics. Outfits made out of this type of fabric will show every single bulge of fat and every bulge. It is not a forgiving fabric.

If you are heavy, do not choose garments out of heavy fabrics like velvet or fleece. They add bulk and make you appear visually bigger. (Layer your clothing for warmth if you live in a cold climate.)

Also avoid buying baggy clothing. It makes you look sloppy. The only exception to this would be for clothes worn while lounging around the house or to wear to the gym.

Clothing that are solid colors are more economical because they can be interchanged with other articles of clothing. Limit pieces that have big, wild prints and colors because it will be hard to match them with other pieces in your closet.

It is good to have a pair of slacks, a skirt, or a dress that is black. Black is a slimming color and it never goes out of style.

Only purchase clothing in colors that you look good in. If you don’t, you will subconsciously avoid wearing the article. If you don’t wear something very often, it is a waste of your money.
